The Senior Client Relationship Executive is a strategic, revenue-driving role focused on managing and growing relationships with key clients and brokers. You'll act as a trusted advisor—driving retention, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering a best-in-class client experience across Sun Life's full suite of products and services.
What You'll Do
Own and grow strategic client relationships
Manage a portfolio of large, complex clients, including those with advanced benefit plans, absence management programs, and technology integrations (e.g., APIs, payroll feeds)
Build strong, trusted partnerships with clients and brokers to drive long-term growth and retention
Drive revenue and retention
Meet annual retention, growth, and cross-sell targets
Identify and execute opportunities to expand client engagement and product adoption
Lead client strategy and experience
Proactively assess client needs and deliver tailored solutions
Serve as the primary liaison across internal teams to ensure alignment and issue resolution
Lead renewal strategy and positioning in partnership with underwriting and sales
Collaborate across the business
Partner with internal teams (Client Advocates, Implementation, Benefits Education, Sales) to deliver seamless client experiences
Support finalist presentations and communicate Sun Life's value proposition
You'll play a critical role in driving client loyalty, delivering value, and fueling growth—while acting as a trusted partner to some of our most complex and high-impact clients.
At our company, we are committed to pay transparency and equity. The salary range for this role is competitive nationwide, and we strive to ensure that compensation is fair and equitable. Your actual base salary will be determined based on your unique skills, qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location. In addition to your base salary, this position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive award based on your individual performance as well as the overall performance of the business. We are dedicated to creating a work environment where everyone is rewarded for their contributions. National Salary Range: $94,500 - $141,800
