Pitney Bowes Inc. has an opening for the role of Senior Data Analyst, Global Financial Applications recruiting out of Shelton, CT. This position is 100% remote; may work from home.
Design and program IT dashboards to support financial and operational reporting and predictive modelling. Work with other organizations within company to develop technical requirements and create reporting to provide better information and improve efficiencies. Create databases and update data domains required to meet reporting requirements. Develop root cause analysis to recognize issues and develop process improvements. Train members of analytics team and others in the finance organization in how to use Anaplan and dashboarding IT tools, and write reference guides for internal publication. Identify opportunities where improved planning, analytics and reporting tools will benefit the organization. Learn new reporting tools as they become available in industry and the company.
Must possess at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Information Systems, Information Science, Information Management, Engineering Management, Business Data Analytics or a related field and at least three years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a related role.In the alternative, at least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Information Systems, Information Science, Information Management, Engineering Management, Business Data Analytics or in a related field and at least five years of progressive experience as a Data Analyst or a related role would be sufficient. Must also possess the following: at least 3 years of experience with PowerBI, SQL – database queries, and Snowflake/HANA; at least 2 years of experience with financial analysis and reporting, Oracle Performance Management and SAP; at least 1 year experience in ETL/ELT design, development, and deployment process; demonstrable experience with Python for data analysis or automation; and demonstrable experience with financial analysis and sales commissions modeling.
Approximately 40 hours per week; the salary range for this position is at least $112,000 per year, depending on experience.
