NWCare provides quality on-site medical care services to residents of nursing homes and long-term care facilities. We offer Podiatry, with plans to add Dentistry, Optometry, Mental Health, Audiology, and Physical Therapy services. Our entire team is reliable, professional, caring, and kind. Our doctors always keep the patients’ wellbeing as their top priority with a focus on excellence in care.

Origins & History
In 2010, Dr. Shazad Buksh’s grandmother-in-law was living in a senior care facility that wasn’t able to provide for the medical services she needed to support her living with dementia. Every time she had to leave the facility for an appointment, she was stressed and it was difficult for her to adjust. This is all too common for older patients living in care facilities. Leaving for medical care is incredibly stressful and hard on them.
NWCare was founded because we saw a problem with the way medical care for older patients was practiced. We sought to increase the care and quality of medical attention and decrease the burden of disruption too often placed on older patients.
Since 2021, NW Care now serves facilities throughout the state of Oregon. We hope to continue to expand into Idaho and Washington.
