The City of Eugene’s Employee Resource Center (ERC) is seeking a knowledgeable and service-driven Benefits and Leaves Analyst to support complex leave administration and provide analytical expertise across the organization. This position plays a key role in administering benefits and leaves programs for multiple departments, including Eugene Springfield Fire, Central Services, Planning and Development, the Eugene Police Department, and Library, Recreation, and Cultural Services.
As a Benefits and Leaves Analyst, you will contribute to the City’s Benefit and Wellbeing program through day-to-day leave administration, collaboration with third-party administrators, policy and process analysis, and preparation of cost and risk materials for collective bargaining. You will also support contract and policy administration, complete regulatory filings, and help resolve benefits and leaves related issues.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
Experience Two (2) years of professional experience in benefits, leaves administration, health insurance administration, or a related field. Six (6) months of supervisor experience is preferred.
Education Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, human resources, public administration, communications, or a related field.
