Tranquility in Motion is expanding! We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. 

 The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of human anatomy and physiology, with the ability to assess patient needs and provide effective pain management solutions. This position will provide therapeutic massage through various techniques focused on pain management while ensuring clients overall wellness. This role is essential in delivering high-quality therapeutic services to our clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.

 We are a therapist-owned & operated facility. We have a rapidly growing and thriving practice, with a full book of business that is ready to be shared with the ideal candidate. We are open 7 days a week with flexible hours of operation. Upwards of 20+ flexible massage hours available for selected candidate.

 Responsibilities

1. Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
2. Provide various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, focusing on pain management and relaxation.
3. Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to tailor treatments effectively for each client.
4. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
5. Communicate clearly and effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and aftercare instructions.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in a clinical office environment to enhance patient care.
7. Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with medical terminology standards.
8. Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
9. Willingness to stay updated on the latest techniques and trends in massage therapy to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

1. Valid massage therapy license and have valid professional liability insurance.
2. Must have a current CPR card.
3. Provide personalized therapeutic massage sessions (30, 60, and 90 minutes)
4. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles.
5. Experience in pain management techniques and customer service excellence.
6. Familiarity with medical terminology related to massage therapy practices.
7. Consult with clients on symptoms, goals, and treatment plans
8. Ability to perform deep tissue massages and other therapeutic techniques effectively.
9. Uphold professional ethics, expert draping, and clear boundaries
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and current industry trends.
11. Professional presentation responsible for wear & care of scrubs
12. Ability to work 1 weekend day weekly
