University Financial Services (UFS), also known as the Controller Department, supports the university's mission of instruction and support by providing efficient and effective accounting and finance services and support for PSU faculty, staff, and students. These services are provided by three departments comprising Financial Reporting, Campus Accounting Services, and Project Accounting. The Controller's office also provides technical support in Banner Finance and training. The UFS team is dedicated to providing exemplary service to the campus through collaboration, partnership and teamwork. |

| Position Summary | The Manager, Financial Services Center position is a leadership role reporting to Assistant Controller and dedicated to driving operational excellence within PSU's Financial Service Center. The Manager directly oversees the Financial Service Center team responsible for Accounts Payable and Procurement Card processes, as well as certain aspects of Vendor Management and Travel. The position ensures all functions are executed with peak efficiency, precision, and adherence to professional standards. All responsibilities will be conducted with a special focus on maintaining an impeccable level of customer service to our campus constituents. Beyond managing daily accounting activities and supervising a diverse team of classified staff, the position is responsible for continuous process improvement and the implementation of lean workflows. This position will also serve as a key administrative contact to facilitate engaging and collaborative relationships with staff and unit leadership across the campus. |

| Total Compensation Range & Benefits Statement | Salary is dependent on several factors, and new employees will typically start around the Q1 level to allow for later growth within the salary band. PSU has a structured process for determining starting compensation, taking into account years of related experience, applicable skills, knowledge and abilities, market parity, and internal equity. The starting annual salary for this position will be between $74,232 and $86,297, but may be negotiated above this range, dependent upon the factors above, the budget of the hiring department, and approval from HR. An excellent benefits package includes 95% premium paid healthcare; a generous retirement and vacation package; and reduced tuition rates for employee, spouse or dependent at any of the Oregon University System schools.
