Job Summary
The Director of Outcomes & Educational Effectiveness collaborates with the scientific team to develop and validate instructional designs and evaluation instruments to measure the effectiveness of ACHL’s educational programs. This position is responsible for analyzing and synthesizing outcomes data for reporting to grantors, as well as ongoing needs assessment for future educational development. This position also spearheads submission of key findings for professional awards, presentations/abstracts, and other publications within the CME/CE industry. The position is remote.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree preferred in M&E, statistics, analytics, or research, or in another related area
Familiarity with data modeling, including regression models
Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments and project deliverables
Knowledge of pharmaceutical or healthcare delivery environments a plus
Experience:
5-8 years prior experience; CME/CE provider or healthcare, social sciences research experience a plus
Quantitative and qualitative data analysis and data presentation using visualization and analysis tools
Qualitative research designs
Working with large data sets and applying statistical, quantitative, and diagnostic techniques
Minitab, SQL, Tableau, SPSS, SAS, or other analytics software
Experience with data visualization tools
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understand the company’s and supporter’s strategic objectives and guide the development of outcomes design to align with and support these objectives.
Expertise in research processes, including data collection, advanced statistical analyses, report writing, and development of presentations
Translate complex research findings into clear, compelling narratives and visualizations for diverse audiences, ensuring effective communication of results
Coordinate, develop, initiate, and respond to information and data requests, both internal and external, to allow for evidence-based and data-informed policy
Establishes and maintains mechanisms for sharing and promoting best practices in educational research, assessment, and continuous improvement
Conduct educational analysis, data modeling, and database optimization to improve operations and strategic positioning of the company
Merge data from multiple sources, and oversee and perform construction of datasets, variables, and data cleaning
Review statistical output for consistency and quality
Develop, maintain, and manage a centralized data repository for the company
Ensure CME industry accepted data architectural guidelines, principles, definitions and standards are followed in all project milestones and deliverables
Create appropriate documentation and mechanicals to support effective reporting of educational impact, including charts, graphs, and logic model diagrams as needed
Assess research requirements and use optimal tactics for appropriate statistical programming and analysis
Assist in the development of meta-analyses, abstract submissions, and poster presentations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with grantors/clients, faculty members, as well as educational partners
Establish and maintain a strong knowledge of the healthcare industry, disease states, and medical education
Provide key findings from ongoing education evaluation to inform new business opportunities
Skills:
Highly developed analytical skills-- able to critically assess, integrate, and synthesize broad areas of educational outcomes data to develop specific evaluation design recommendations
Work effectively in a collaborative environment and on cross-functional teams, particularly in the design of an outcomes plan
Develop evaluation strategies and achieve goals in creative and effective ways
Effectively communicate complex technical details and technical concepts to non-technical audience
