Frontier Legal is a criminal defense firm. We are looking for a criminal trial attorney to join our practice based in Central and Eastern Oregon. The successful candidate will hold a J.D. and be an active member of the Oregon State Bar or pending admittance. Excellent communication skills—reading, writing, public speaking, and interpersonal—are a must.

We offer supervision and mentorship for new attorneys and professional support for administrative and business tasks. The successful candidate can expect an annual income of $150,000 to start, but also have potential for more, depending on caseload and work time. Attorneys are free to take cases across the state, allowing almost a fully remote/work from home (or anywhere) environment. This opportunity also allows the attorney to choose their own workload and number of cases to actively work on, which means attorneys can choose their own schedule.

Requirements

Doctor of Law (JD) required

Bar license required

Experience in criminal law

Ability to manage own schedule and caseload
