JOB SUMMARY
Assist portfolio managers, commercial loan officers, and team leader with preparation and coordination of loan documentation. Review financial information for individuals and businesses. Work with commercial lending team in ordering loan documents and providing overall quality maintenance of the loan portfolio. Provide comprehensive support to the commercial lending team. Exceptional timeliness and accuracy in the creation and completion of all documentation, periodic reports, and correspondence required. This hybrid role will also support daily branch activity to include client in branch transactions, manage/balance a cash drawer, assisting/direct clients with transactions or requests, manage returned items, accounts with known fraud, NSF activity and verification of online activities. JOB SPECIFICATIONS (Applicant must qualify under the following specifications)
- Education: bachelor's degree or high school graduate/equivalent with industry experience.
- Experience: Experience working in a dynamic team environment. Banking or financial services industry experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide client service and administrative support for commercial lending teams, including meeting and greeting clients in person and on the phone.
- Prepare file packages for document requests on all new loans, renewals, and changes in terms.
- Work on collateral evaluations.
- Review docs prior to signing and uploading files to bank imaging software.
- Scan and copy files after signing for disbursement to banks loan closing workflow.
- Work with loan delinquencies and prepare letters as needed.
- Interface with title companies, other financial institutions and county and state agencies to properly document, record/file lien position collateral.
- Input current financial information: tax returns, credit reports and collateral documentation withing banks imaging software.
- Assist clients with advances, transfers, payments, and miscellaneous inquiries.
- Prepare letters to clients for annual financials/update tracking report.
- Order supporting loan documentation such as credit reports, appraisals, flood determinations.
- Keep track of all business loan agreement requirements, completing monthly reports and receipt of required documentation.
- Be knowledgeable of bank compliance rules and adhere to Federal and State banking regulations relating to this position.
- Follow all Bank compliance policies and procedures relating to this position.
- Miscellaneous follow-up and support to commercial lending team and support staff as needed.
- Operations duties includes receipt of deposits, verifying cash and endorsements, managing and balancing cash within teller guidelines, answering phones to provide online support.
- Accept checks for cashing or paying; verify endorsements; identify clients and customers; insure validity of transactions. Verify new client information, including collectability of funds and client identity, background, and bank references to prevent bank losses.

- Responsible to the Commercial Lending Team Leader for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.
- Contact with co-workers and the public in a professional manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the bank.

- Experience in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Competency in basic mathematical skills such as calculating interest and percentages.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently and within deadlines.
- Ability to lift to 30 lbs., if necessary.
