Maps Credit Union seeks an experienced Branch Manager to lead our Astoria branch and deepen our connection to the vibrant North Coast community. Our Branch Managers:
Strengthen Community Presence
- Grow our membership through intentional business development, community partnerships, and local engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business owners and community organizations
- Collaborate with Internal Maps partners to support members and drive branch success.
Lead an Empowered, High-Performing Team
- Model accountable, values-driven leadership for your team.
- Foster a warm, member centric culture that prioritizes meaningful conversations and personalized financial solutions.
- Support the growth of branch employees through identifying training needs, coaching, skill development, and performance feedback.
Drive Branch Excellence
- Lead the branch to met or exceed goals as set annually by senior management.
- Ensure branch compliance with security and branch control policies, procedures, and audits.
- Step into any role in the branch as needed, ensuring seamless service for members.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Are already connected in the Astoria/North Coast community and enjoy building local partnerships.
- Have proven experience in banking leadership, business development, or branch management.
- Are energized by mentoring teams, growing talent, and delivering an exceptional member experience.
- Value community involvement and believe financial institutions should play a meaningful role in local wellbeing.
And have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent combination of education and financial services experience.
- A minimum of 4 years in the financial industry with demonstrated progressive responsibility.
- A minimum of 3 years in a proven supervisory role.
- A minimum of 3 years in direct and indirect selling roles.
- The highest level of ethical behavior.
- Must be bondable.
Starting exempt salary is $82,000 - $95,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities to earn incentives.
